Well let me start by saying that I have not been completely clean on my diet but not bad. I have did a great job of bringing it hard every time I push play. I have actually started to keep track of what I do on each workout. I am half way through phase 2 week 2 and I love it. I am going to start running also, at night to supplement the workout. I hope this helps as I am really trying to lose the remainder of my stomach. I know that I need a cleaner diet and I am trying. I simply do my best and forget the rest. Keep bringing it p90xers.
Day 90 Results!!!!!
•July 7, 2009 • 4 CommentsIt’s official I have finished Day 90!!!!! I feel great. I am going to be the first to say that my results are good but I think they could have been a little better. I don’t believe that I have lost enough around my stomach. I am totally different from day 1 and that makes me happy. I am going right into round 2 tomorrow. I am as healthy as I have ever been before in my life. I lost 10lbs, down to 16.5% bodyfat, gained .5 inches in my arms, lost 3.5 inches in my waist, gained 1 inch in my chest, and lost 1 inch in my hips. I am happy and am a believer in p90x. Here are my results….

•June 18, 2009 • Leave a CommentWell I have been doing my posts much more sporadically than normal, but I am going harder than ever. I did my yoga last night and it felt great. Not to mention that I am sooo much stronger than I was when I began. I BRING IT when it comes to strength workouts. I feel great and I have lost 2 1/2 inches around the waist and have 1 more to go. I love this system and would recommend it to most, but not all. I will post my Week 11 pics when I have them this weekend. Happy p90xing!!!

Day 1 to Day 70
I am still working hard at P90X, just haven’t been updating my blog. Today I am doing chest and back. I can not believe I am already back to where I was before my dad passed away. I have been going full force for the last two and a half weeks. Good diet and sticking to the exercises. I can actually do 6 to7 pull ups regular before I use the chair. I could not even push one out before. I lost another inch in my waist and now I am 35 inches down from 37 1/2 inches. Everything is going great. I have three weeks left and I will start another round when I finish because I had that week off and the really screwed me up. I feel that I am just getting back to where I was. Oh well I will push hard these last three weeks and know that I did the best that I could. I have a beach vacation planned for the end of August and I am going to be ripped for that. i just have to keep telling myself that. Well I threw a few week 10 pics compared to day 1 on here. Bad Times…
•May 27, 2009 • 1 CommentI did not quit. Last week unfortunately my father passed away after a long battle with diabetes. I spent the whole week at my mom’s house and had no p90x in my life, nor any type of good diet. I felt bad but I knew with all the bad food coming to our house it was going to happen. So I just started back after a week off last night, omg one week and it was that hard. I did chest and back and the first day of phase three. I made it through the whole workout and could hardly move at the end. I could not do ab ripper due to my inability to move. Though it was so hard, that was the most push ups and pull ups I have ever done before. I started out doing 6 -8 push ups and now all 15 – 20. This makes me feel good and I have not quit and have no plans to. Good luck to everyone and happy p90xing.
Mother’s day weekend
•May 11, 2009 • Leave a CommentWell this weekend was Mother’s day weekend and it was long. My wife and I ran the whole weekend and my diet suffered. It is harder to eat clean when you are not the one preparing the food. I did workout Friday night and that workout went well. I am now in recovery week and will do my first workout for that tonight. Jennie and I have our 1 year wedding anniversary today and will go out tonight, so I guess that means grilled chicken salad. Well happy p90xing… Happy post Mother’s Day!

•May 8, 2009 • 1 CommentYesterday I did my legs and back routine and my oh my this workout still kills me. I was wore out yesterday and still came out and did the routine. This is obviously what makes p90x what it is. It is the times when you don’t think you can do any workouts and you still make yourself push through it, hence keep pushing play. I am into my kenpo workout tonight and then I will not be in town this weekend to do my workout but I will keep up with my diet. Have a great weekend.

•May 7, 2009 • Leave a CommentWell last night I did another yoga session and it is getting so much cleaner. I actually did the crane for 20 seconds. This exercise is very challenging but I like it as much now as I did when I first started. I am starting to get more and more comments on my change, and this is what keeps me pushing play. I have my legs tonight and I hate this exercise, but I will push through it. happy p90xing!!
Biceps and Back
•May 6, 2009 • Leave a CommentLast night was challenging. I was super tired and did not think that I would be able to “bring it” very well at the time. But I ended up having an excellent workout. I am becoming so much stronger in every move. It excites me to workout and I am over half way done with p90x. The best thing about last nights workout was when I finished the ab ripperx workout I had actually did every move. This is the first time that I’ve did this and it felt great. Well tonight is the yoga x workout, so till tomorrow.
I’m Back
•May 5, 2009 • Leave a CommentWell last night I pushed through the plyometrics workout and pushed hard. I did very well on my diet. I still feel great and it is awesome. I checked my resting heart rate and it was 68, before I started it was 98. I have biceps and back tonight, plus the ab ripper x. I am for the first time going to do all the workouts. I am very close, so we will see.
Derby Weekend
•May 4, 2009 • Leave a CommentWell this weekend was not good for the p90x. I worked my ass off all day and did not want to workout out at 8:00 at night, but I did. I pushed and somehow made it through. SaturdayI woke up and mowed the yard and did random yard work, this was a workout all on its own. We had a derby party to attend that afternoon and did not have time to workout. Then sunday I was sore from the work that I did outside and I could hardly make it up and down the stairs. I did not do the workout. I feel guilty but I did my best. My diet I would rate at a 2 out of 5 over the weekend. So all in all I fell off the wagon for a couple days. I have my plyometrics workout tonight and I hate this workout. I will continue to give updates, and will post my 6 week pics when have time. Keep pushing play.
Legs and Back and Day 45
•April 30, 2009 • Leave a CommentWhere to begin? I came home last night and I was spent, did not think that I could push out my workout. Then came my second wind for my weak area, Legs, and I pushed play. I went extra hard and felt like crap when I finished, so I didn’t think that I could do the ab ripper. I almost turned the dvd player off and I decided to try to do my best, and let me say that is the best that I done yet. I was extremely tired and ready for bed when I finished. I have my kenpo tonight, I have learned to love it. I weighed myself this morning and I was 194.5 and I started at 205, so I was pumped. 195 was my goal now am I pushing for 185. Wahoo….till next time.
Tuesday Yoga x
•April 29, 2009 • Leave a CommentWell last night I went to my hometown to see my family and I brought my yoga gear with me. This is the first time I have done a work out, outside the comfort of my office/spare bedroom/workout facility. It felt much different to do it there but nevertheless I finished with flying colors for my yoga x day. I can do crane for like 20 seconds and when I started I could not do it all. This feels great. I have my legs and back tonight, this is another difficult one for me but I will keep pushing play.
Day 40!!!!
•April 28, 2009 • Leave a CommentNot much to say other than I missed a day of workouts on Sunday and did not eat great this weekend. I had times where I felt bad for eating something so I knew it was wrong. I went to the reds ball game on Saturday and sat in a luxury box seat where all the food and beer was provided for us. I drank and ate too much and then went to my wife’s hometown where I drank and ate too much again. Oh well I have did very well so far and have not had anything bad so I guess one day isn’t too bad. I felt like crap on Sunday and missed my workout and felt even worse. Then came Monday and I brought it. I had biceps and back, and man I pushed as hard as I could. My arms are actually beginning to become cut where you can actually see some definition. I am doing my yoga tonight. I am still going and plan on finishing strong. I’m out.
Day 36 Plyometrics
•April 24, 2009 • Leave a CommentWell I have not posted in a couple of days, but I was still doing my workouts. I just started my 6th week, and it feels great. I am starting to see great results in my strength and my stomach is “saying bye bye” haha. This week I am going to make my day of rest on Sunday. Last night I did the shoulders, tricep, chest workout for the second time and it is already starting to feel natural, like it is a workout that I am supposed to be able to do. The ab ripper x workout is amazing and I am learning to love it. I am almost to where I can do the whole workout, even though it is agonizing, I feel great after I am done. •April 21, 2009 • Leave a CommentYesterday I did my yoga routine. It is amazing how much I have came to enjoy this exercise. The first time I did this I could not do crane at all and last night I did it for 15 seconds straight, then continued off and on. This is how I can tell that I am improving. I checked my inches last night and I have lost 1 inch in most areas and I have gained a half inch in both arms. My diet is still going well and I am continuing to push play. Tonight I continue with legs and back…

I now understand why phase 2 can show great results. My arms are soreeee today. I have now noticed that I have lost a couple pounds, wahoo. I have yoga tonight and I am looking forward to it. I am half way through week 5 and wanting more. Till tomorrow…

Day 1 and Day 28. I decided to go ahead put these on here.
Yesterday was my yoga day and it amazing to see the improvement since the first week. I love this work out so much and the way I feel afterwards. I am supposed to have today off but I am going to take Saturday. I am not positive what my workout is tonight but I know that it is different, so I am looking forward to it. I will put my 29 photos up tomorrow. Here comes phase 2….
